Grace, peace and mercy to all the saints of God who have purified themselves from the error of the world, and have fled for the refuge which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank the God of our fathers, even Jesus, for the hope and the truth that he has placed with in us. For we, as the temples of the Living God, carry in our hearts the true holy things. For in the temple that Solomon built after David fell asleep, were holy things, vessels that were dedicated for God’s service alone. The holy things were also called the treasures of the house of the Lord. The temple of Solomon was a symbol of the dwelling place of our heart, and the treasures in the temple were examples of the Gospel truth that God would place in us. What a glorious truth revealed in the temple of Solomon. Also when God spoke in the beginning of world, he spoke with a command saying, “Let there be light.” The word that follows says: “And the there was light.” But consider how wise God was, for he spoke in a mystery. The light that God commanded was the truth of the Gospel that delivered us from this present evil world, and the place were “there was light” was the heart in which the Gospel was believed.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2Co 4:4
Let us therefore walk in the light that has been birthed in our hearts and let us sanctify the Lord, the Father of Lights, in our hearts. For we have truly been sanctified by him, which is why we continue to sanctify him in our hearts!
To sanctify the Lord is to keep those things that he has dedicated within you, holy and without compromise, continually believing on them as true. For the temple of our heart is the holy place where the treasures of the Lord abide, even his hope and truth, his mercy and forgiveness, his power and his love. Oh saints of God, how marvelous is the power of the Gospel within us who believe! Let us keep treasure of that power unblemished, unspotted, and dedicated within our hearts until the glorious appearing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus who will reward every man according to his works. Let the faith that is by him, even his hope and glory and truth continue in us until the day of redemption. To him be all glory, and dominion and power, forever and ever, Amen.
